This is a website about women and girls involved in the sport of sailing. I’m a newbie but I’m crazy about sailing. In my quest to absorb everything I can, I want to share some of my findings with you. I’ve been researching all manner of gear for women sailors. The products are spread around various sites and I hope to make your shopping for women’s sailing gear easier. I have spent some of my spare time learning about other women sailors who have gone before. Their stories are inspiring and I’m inspired to share with you.

I live in Texas and enjoy racing with my husband on our J/22. I am passionate about bringing more women into the great, lifetime sport of sailing. I’ll share my strategies and adventures on sailing with my husband. If you both love the sport there are ways to make it work! I’ll also share my misadventures and lessons learned on the race circuit. Since this is my first time out you can bet there will be stories to tell. As you can see I haven’t quite built my sailing wardrobe. Look at those flood water pants. We’re spending all our money on racing hardware right now but I’ll get better with the clothing as the season goes on. A big thanks to my friend Debbie who has shared her vast sailing wardrobe with me at just the right time. I’m especially grateful for those padded shorts! She is an experienced J/22 racer and has been my mentor and inspiration.  Another thanks goes to our great club Dallas Corinthian Yacht Club and our avid racers who have made me feel welcomed on the race course and continue to inspire me!  Thanks for listening ladies and come join us on the water!
